Rebuilding the Bog Garden Boardwalk

The Bog Garden has long been a sanctuary — a place where native wildlife thrives, where students learn, and where visitors find peace in nature. After decades of use, its aging boardwalk is ready for renewal.

The City of Greensboro has committed $1.7 million to reconstruct the boardwalk and selected a contractor to begin the work.
Now, Greensboro Beautiful is working to bridge the final $175,000 needed to complete this essential project.

Through Gather & Grow, your gift will help restore this beloved wetland experience and ensure that generations to come can continue to enjoy this native natural treasure.

Creating The Gathering at Gateway Gardens

At Gateway Gardens, a new space is taking shape — The Gathering, a beautiful outdoor venue designed to bring people together. From performances and celebrations to community programs and quiet moments of connection, it will serve as a welcoming centerpiece in one of Greensboro’s most inspiring garden spaces.

With an estimated cost of $1,000,000, Greensboro Beautiful is raising the funds needed to break ground and begin building this lasting venue for joy, connection, and community.
